Hi all,
I'm wondering if any other c-4000 owners can be so kind and help me out with a couple of questions I have about the camera. I've been flicking through the instruction manual and was quite interested in the AF Area option that the manual claims to be available. According to the manual you go to the main menu, then Camera, then AF Area, but for some reaon the option is blanked out and can't be selected. I've tried selecting the option from the menu in all settings (P/A/S/M) without any luck. How an earth do I do it? Also, what's the difference (In laymans terms) with using ESP and Spot metering?
Thanks in advance

Not sure about your AF problem but the difference between the ESP and Spot metering is that ESP looks at the whole frame to determine the best exposure and spot looks more at the center of the frame to determain the best exposure. Hope this helps a little.
