Arrived safe n sound, a bit sleep (I'm not designed to sleep sitting up...awaiting my sisters arrival. My niece arrives tomorrow. Will keep you posted...

Ahh..church challenge...perfect timing for you.
I just remembered something that might have been mentioned earlier. If you wanted to go up the Eiffel tower, try to get tickets online as early as possible. The line there is WAYYYYYY long.
...also I know you already know this but keep an eye out for pick-pocketers. They are many of them in the city. |

J'espère que votre voyage sera merveilleux et rempli de souvenirs fantastiques. J'espère aussi que vous aurez la possibilité de profiter de la culture française, ainsi que de leurs aliments et vins.
Have a great trip, enjoy yourself and take oodles of pictures.

First day was rough but I soldiered through it. Got a little sleep on the plane not much although. Went into Paris old city to walk around and just see some sights...beautiful city. We are getting the hang of the subway now, not nearly as confusing. And we went to Versailles today...did the inside tour, ran out of light for the gardens...we did step out there and it appears that everything is "winterized". So the fountains that I could see were shut down.... :(
We are staying out near the airport and using the metro to go where we want to go to. Tomorrow we are having a cooking class near Notre Dame. Looking forward to that!!!
So far it's been an amazing trip!!! My niece arrived on time and in one piece (she was the one that had to go get her passport renewed before she could go).
Thanks for all the good info...I'm hoping that maybe I'll get to the Photography Museum tomorrow. |
