took this last night Very little manipulation in PS. Any critiques would be most appreciated.

Good first try, however the lights are very much blown out in the background. To get the car lights looking right takes practice. Bracketing is also a good idea.

try using gradual filters for the sky

Yeah kinda looks like day, how long did u leave ur shutter open for?

Pretty good. You exposed it a little too long however... Notice the blown out parts (pure white) in the sky and in the on-comming headlights at the top of the picture. This takes some practice I think.
Still good. :) I haven't tried this type of shot in a looong time.

Nice shot, Damon. I love long night exposures that end up looking almost like daytime. If you want to leave the shutter open that long, which usually results in some coll-looking shots, then just try using a neutralizing filter or maybe even a polarizing filter to keep the whites from being blown out too much. Hope to see more of these in the future!
