I think his work has been posted here before. But his methods - and the resulting images, are really out there and deserve a second look.

Those are quite the shots in extreme conditions! My hubby swam in Waimea Bay a couple of years ago. I sat on the shore and took pictures, and held my breath every time he disappeared beneath the waves. He said it was fun - I was much happier when he was out of that water.

That's a man with a vision and a mission, sheesh.... By far the best photos I've ever seen of what it's like to be INSIDE a wave, and I've been inside a few waves myself over the years, though none of that level of insanity... Talk about brutal shorebreaks... Awesome work.

Sorry I mean I didn't click past the initial wave before... I've now watched it but still resent having to watch a video without being shown the still images and text of the story. Pre youtube gen I suppose.

Clark's work is incredible and he's a really nice guy as well. I've met him a couple of times at various shows over the years and am always amazed at his pics.
