I just opened Photoshop, which then buggered about before opening in its brave new format of Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. I looked for a filter and Topaz was no longer there. Others? |

I heard others somewhere with this same complaint. (Been away from computer for a week so I won't get update till later today.)
The fix was something about copying files - I will try to find the website where discussion was happening.) |

Easy fix. Your Photoshop CC is still there (assuming you didn't toss it), so open up a Windows explorer window and go to programs/adobe/photoshop cc/plugins and see the topaz folder. drag it to the desktop to copy it there, then move explorer to the same location for CC 2014/plugins and drag the folder into there. Boot photoshop and all's good. Works for Nik also, and for any actions that didn't copy over.
ETA:
C://Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CC (64 bit)>Plugins is my path for the first one. As it happens, all the topazes are separate entries in that folder Nik makes its own subfolder) so grab the whole bunch of them and drag/drop

Gotta watch out for that stuff he does in the woods, but this was no shit :)
As a matter of fact - after spotting another thread with virus/scam questions that garnered neat, informative and useful response - I remember that I just paid up a month membership on account of I don't do a whole lot of photography these days, then this happens and pays back for the month and then some. I guess we should all just maintain our membership for the good of being in the community.
