It would be nice to be able to incrementally increase the memory size of our accounts. I'd pay another $30 for more space!

I know that advertising is not big on DPC, but if a deal could be worked out with PBase or Photobucket for say, five or ten dollars more, that we could have a portfolio "Powered by" one of these companies.

That is an awesome idea! You should pitch that to the D & L.

A good number of members here use either Pbase, Photobucket, or DeviantArt to store their photos, so if the costs could be all inclusive that would be great. |

Believe me, this is on the list. It's been quite a while since it was put there, so hopefully it will be addressed soon. I personally agree, haveing more space available here on DPC just makes the site that much better and increases the revenue generation, which is important to the future of the site. |

Just musing:
If we had less space, would not be more discriminating about what we put out there? If we were more discriminating, what would this do for our photography?
Really, my own self-discipline is not any better than anybody else's. I should do something about this...

Not every picture we want to put here has to be a "good" picture. Sometimes I want to put up a bad one, or a Before/After set, to answer a specific point in the Forums. It's nice if you don't have to delete those, and leave broken links for people "doing research" later on. |

I agree with that. It is so annoying to read an old thread containing editing tips and find the images gone. That is why I have a PhotoBucket account, so I am not quilty of adding to that problem.

If it's been on the list for quite a while, and it will make D&L money, I don't understand why they don't just go for it! I can't see it taking up much coding time? |
