I took a buch of ducky photos the other day we have a group we feed from time to time. I can get them to eat out of my hand....your water looks like my all mine muddy.
here's what I did with my muddy water
Your's no more brown water :-)

| Looks good, nice focus. I wish the water would of been a blue color. But you couldn't help that. Good job. |

A tighter crop, that just includes the duck, would minimize the gloominess of the murky water. The halo around the duck is distracting since it contrasts strongly with the darker tones of the picture. Also, the throat seems a bit blown out.
On the plus side, it is a good clear image with a great pose. I have no way of knowing how much of what I mentioned above is in the original or is due to post processing; but if the highlights can be salvaged while gaining a bit more contrast, the pose alone is enough to make it worth the effort.

| Britannica has a good point about the pose. The way the duck is looking at you was what I liked about the photo. Play with the editing software if you've got it. |
