The first one is bad... You can barely read the sign, and the rest of the picture isn't very interesting. I'd give it a 5 (maybe a 4).
The second one is better, with the B&W that gives it a nice touch with all the white snow, etc. But the branches on the left are a little much. Rotate it a few degrees to the right also. I'd give this a 6. |

| i actually prefer the first one to the second one. i like how the photo is basically b&w except the yellow sign, and i love the 'skid-marks' across the road in the snow, as if the sign was not terribly effective. that said, i rated your actual submission a 6, and probably would have rated your first photo the same. the second photo i just don't find as compelling as either the photo you submitted or the outtake 1 photo. it looks too much like a sign lost in a forest or something like that. |

Here are my Road Sign and Milk Outtakes
I think my milk outtake would have done better, and some of my sign outtakes were kind of funny. Enjoy! Comments welcome.
