I am looking for photo ablum makers that I can use as a website/portfolio. I currently use Web Album Generator but am interested in what others use. My personal website/portfolio shows a skin I used with Web Album Generator. Has anyone ran across anything better? Thanks!

Photoshop CS and iView are what I use.
In iView I made these gallery image pages and the subsequent photo pages.
Here
I edited the htnl so that it would match my website.
In CS used this one Here
You are able to adjust the html on it also
Photoshop Elements does this also, and maybe PS 7.

really? wow! I never knew the adobe products did this sort of thing. After seeing your stampede I definitely want to add those little feedback things on the images, thats a neat add-on.

Anyone else?

Dana - great photos on your site. You give a beautiful soft finish to many of them that is just superb.

Thank you very much Kylie! I had a look at your portfolio and you have an incredible eye for architecture and structures. I learned in college that the beginning of Art is architecture, it was our main subject for a whole semester. To me its just a building, but the way you take your photos, the angles and such, make it very interesting :)

Thank you, Dana. That is very kind of you. I love architecture and lines, and to me those are the "no-brainer" shots. I can't take a picture of a person for my life!!!

What about Fotopic

I've used them for a while, it was agwright who told me about it.

There's also //jalbum.net/. I personally use //www.smugmug.com to avoid the drama and bandwidth issues related to photo sites.

From their TOS:

"With respect to all other Content you elect to post to other publicly accessible areas of the Service, you grant Fotopic the royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, in the course of providing and promoting the Service."

You have to be very careful using a third party host, because this kind of licensing is common.

I'm not looking for hosting. I'm just looking for programs like JAlbum which Make Photo Websites. I have my own space and host. Thanks.

I probably like jalbum the best. There's also Gallery which a lot of people use but I've never really been a fan. And Coppermine. But I'd check out JAlbum.

I have been using Photoframe, an open source system you can download at:

//photoframe.sourceforge.net/

It does just what I wanted, plus if you know how to code PHP, it's easy to tweak (I added another level)

You can see how I used that for my family pictures at: //www.shapironet.com
