Now I have to process and print the pics. In the past I've taken my personal pics on a disk to Costco for printing and they do a pretty good job. I would like to know what/who the professionals use. Also, my friend will want enlargements. The pictures are in RAW format at the moment. Should I process and save them as TIFFs (better compression) or JPEGs. Finally, is there anything else I need to know?
Here is one the first pics from the shoot, the focus is a little soft and I cut off her toes, but, I haven't looked at all of photos yet (about 100 of them) so hopefully the rest are a little better.

Almost everyone will want JPEGs, not TIFFs; if they take TIFF, make sure they can use the LZW compressed form, or save uncompressed.
Why not try making your enlargements (at least as a test) at Costco anyway? A 12x18 (you could gang up a couple of images on that, too) is only $3! If they look good, why go to more trouble ....
The Costco I go to is printing on Fuji Crystal Archive Type 1 paper in Glossy or Lustre finishes, using the Noritsu 310/311 printers, and refers people to the profiles from www.drycreekphoto.com (cited in other threads on "printing"). Most of mine look great, and once when a couple didn't, they just re-ran the order.
P.S. Try to link to the thumbnail rather than the full-sized image when posting in the forums. Thanks
