True dat, especially since DPC at its core is based on public opinion, not pure artistic merit. The two are not mutually exclusive, but when you give the crowd a vote, you gotta be willing to accept what anyone in the crowd thinks. |

| It's relief to see all the concern over voters who might score an image abnormally high just because they really like guns. |

| DPC rules allow each voter to vote by their own criteria, as long as they do so consistently ΓΆ€” I think we should keep it that way and just stop telling each other how to vote ... to do so is to ask the voter to (potentially) be dishonest in their response. |

I LOVE love love guns, x- NRA member, but if a picture is crappy, it won't get my high vote LOL!
Some members here have given me some really good pointers and tips to help me be a very consistent voter now and its really nice to be able to finally be able to vote on all pictures within that challenge and I love that and its getting very, addicting :-/
Subject does not matter at all. However, this is one of my favorite themes ;0))
I was shocked to see some nude pics in the current challenges but it did not sway my vote really low just because it was a nekkid girl..I am learning the photo techniques now not so much of the subjects being taken.. So, Unless rules specifically tell us the no, no I guess we will be seeing a bit of everything regardless of the kind or type of photo is made.. maybe some nude girls with guns perhaps?
