Anyone have any experience, or links to Youtube videos? My Sigma 16-50/2.8 has broken -- zoom ring came loose from the innards, and the focus barrel appears to be stuck in the extended "macro lock" position. It is an older model and I don't use it that often, so the cost to repair is probably not going to be worth it. So thought I would play around with trying to see if I can fix it myself (or turn it into a nice paperweight)

yikes, thats something I would not try myself. I had a super cheap lens die on me so I took it apart to investigate just out of sheer curiosity and it was pretty tricky in there. lots of tiny screws
