Tanguera started a thread (I think it was she...)
It was about splitting out the color and the details into two separate thingys, so you can smooth out the face and still leave the detail. I even posted an example and a link to a tutorial I found, but I can't remember what the technique was called -- and I wanted to try it on some portraits that I was doing.
Does this sound familiar? Can anyone help me find it?
