For the past few weeks I haven't been able to receive e-mail notices from 2 of my PM threads and none of my Recent Comments from post-challenges. I've had to keep an eye out on my "Private Messaging Box" with my 4 current thread responses on the left side of the home page to see if I've gotten any new messages. They were not coming to my Inbox in my Gmail account. And I've been checking my "Recent Comments" often to see if anything new had come in. It's been driving me nuts.
Yesterday I was looking for something that I deleted off my e-mails and found 150+ thread & recent comment notices in my trash box on gmail. Somehow those 3 items had gotten marked to go straight to trash not go to my inbox. I've been able to fix this by going to my Gmail settings>filter and editing my list of "The following filters are applied to all incoming mail"....the dpc address' were listed in one of my boxes...I edited them out of there by deleting them. I've run the test on the three items (2 PM thread & Recent Comments) and I'm now receiving them back in my inbox...how crazy is that!!!
I know several have had the same problem and I haven't ever seen anyone post the fix for it. Just thought you'd like to know. If I'm beating a dead horse here...sorry |

Why does it not surprise me that Google has (apparently) messed with your settings without telling (or asking) you?
Some folks have also had a problem with their ISP blocking the DPC domain ... |

A few wks ago I was "cleaning" out my e-mails and I don't usually keep my DPC ones as I have a list/record of them on DPC...but I like to know when I have a new notice/PM sent to me.
So I probably did something while "cleaning/deleting" the emails out...it just took me this long to stumble on the "why" of it. Just glad it's fixed!!!
ETA: They were in my "Trash" not "SPAM" folder....so if you are having trouble...ck your trash...not SPAM....
