in this picture.. on different monitors i was able to spot some areas in white space that seems to be an end result of bad editting. but in some monitors there is absolutely nothing there that indicates such thing. now i am trying to find out which is true. is the photo editted badly and my monitor needs calibrating or is it that some monitors create that kind of artifact because of whatever reason.
so please tell me if you see any artifacts in the white area on this image. your input on this is greatly appreciated...

i feel dirty for looking at that, but i had to comment that i do see discolored areas if i tilt my laptop screen. all around the model and in the lower right hand corner area.

on my screen I see a "shadow" right around the body and it is a little more pronounced/darker around her stomach

On my screen I can see smudges, especially behind her head and back. After looking at what DarkRider prepared I can see them even more. But I also agree with parrothead. |

Hi Mehmet,
I've had that happen in an image I thought was an all white background and found some "blotchies" and halos. What I have started doing to be sure, is to view my monitor at extreme angles, from above and below to see what was there and wasn't. It's made a huge difference when it comes to prints.

Hi Mehmet,
I really love this pic its fabulous....I spent a little time in PS to see if I could eliminate the fuzzy background. Here is what I was able to come up with. I hope you don't mind me editing your pic...I just really wanted to see if I could do it. I tried my hardest not to adjust the look of the model just the back ground.....there is still a little spot between the models stomach and her arms that needs some work but I didn't touch it.
and the new curves

also, the space between her arms and body needs adjusting. too grey compared to the rest of the background.

I see the splotches, not nearly as pronounced as in the adjusted version about, but definitely enough to catch if my eyes were not quite looking at them (if you know what I mean). They were not distracting, as I find a solid, and very bright, background with that much negative space needs something to break it up a bit and add a sense of balance without filling in the space. <-- I feel like I am not saying that as well as I should, but don't have a better wording at the moment.
Around the model is a different matter entirely, there is a definite smudge halo around her entire body that is quite different from her abdominal shadow in the triangle of background made by her arms. Of it all, the only part I found distracting was the abdominal shadow and a few of the darker part of the smudge halo.

'Me too' ie: I can see them...
I think you need to hit your backdrop with more light and see if you can get it to clip (overexpose, but in a nice way :-) ). in the original.
I really like the pose, but the editing of the background is a bit obvious, particularly if you look at the gapin front of her tummy. The main light is also a little flat, but then you didn't ask for general critique, so I'll go back under my stone :-).
