Doohickey:
A small object or gadget, esp. one whose name the speaker does not know or cannot recall.
Take a picture of an object or gadget that will have the voters trying to recall it's name.

When I was younger my dad would be working on something and he would say hand that hickey (a tool) and I would look around to try to see what he was talking about. If it was a very important tool he would call it a doohickey. I never knew that was a real word until it showed up in a crossword puzzle one day. That was after my dad had passed away and I could help but smile and laugh.

Just read your story about you and your dad Scott and it reminded me of the time my dad told me that if I snuck up on a skunk and picked him up right quick by the tail, that the skunk could not spray me since he had to have the ability to lift his tail to spray.
I won't tell you what happened except that my dad, with a straight face, looked me in the eye and said..."Hmmm guess you weren't fast enough, eh?"
By the way, would a Round TUIT, be acceptable in the challenge?
