so i was in a peter lik gallery a few days ago and more impressive than the photography is the paper its printed on. The prints look backlit but they aren't. I mean these things just glow. the salesman told me they use some sort of special paper.

anyone know what kind and is there a way to get my images printed on paper like the kind they use?

So, silver paper "printed" using chemical processes (and a fancy printer), face mounted acrylic, and lit really well.

He also prints on metal IIRC. I was talking to one of the salesmen in their Vegas gallery.

Metallic of some sort. I was originally printing on metallic paper, but it's waaaay too delicate. It can't be placed in a humid room (bathrooms and kitchens are out), can't be placed near a window, has to be kept cool, or the darn thing will melt...

I've been printing on metal and it's fabulous.
