They are very nice.
Nice exposure and great composition on the second one.
The only thing I would try to do with the second on is crop the bottom, the top of the building is very distracting to me atleast. Maybe leave that statue but the rest of the building distracts.

New crop.
I am not sure which one I like better. Opinions? |

I like the original one, the cropped one is missing something.
I also like the diagonal line from the flag to the roof on the original.
Very Nice |

I like the new crop better. I love the rich colors in the flag on that one.

I don't like the new crop.
The building in the foreground is definately distracting but since you can't totaly remove it (can you? then take the picture again maybe? ;-), I'd leave it. I prefere the longer look and I love the wave of the flag on it.
As for the other one - well, it's a great shot but it's just another postcard. Would have been perfect for the travel guide challenge, but as a stand alone... I like it less since I saw it probably a million times before.

I like the your first crop as well, the leading lines are more prominant. The pics are really good. I love "the guardian", the statue on top of the oklahoma state capitol. If you would ever like to go on a photo outing of OKC, just let me know.

Life is busy, but I would love an outing. I'm pretty tired of downtown any suggestions. The zoo is beautiful, but I have never gone without my 2 year old along. That makes for very little picture taking opportunity. Let me know.
Thanks to everyone for the comments. |
