Not sure if you noticed but in 2007, total submission for this challenge was 12 and out of that 5 were disqualified :)
AND next in line was this one where total submission was 10 and none disqualified :) In this particular one there was an entry from DPC famous  langdon's entry  and that scored "5.8989", if this entry would have been made today I am sure it would not have collected that big number :) |

It was an April Fools challenge, and the joke was that the challenge "vanished" after a while. //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=570641&highlight=vanish
The Signs challenge was the first challenge ever. Higher scores were common then, apparently, as evidenced by the 8+ by the winner.
