What is the general opinion of posting outtakes for a challenge in progress?

I really thought my backlighting entry would do well, but it is sad right now.

I am dying to know how some other shots would have faired, but I don't know how big a deal it is if they are similar to your entry. Opinions? Post or Dont Post?

I think if it is similar it would give away what photo is yours, usually the outtakes are shared after voting. If its not similar I am not sure but I dont think it hurts to share and get opinions.

Some don't mind, some do -- some love to see lots of pictures, some hate to see anything that even vaguely could be considered an entry for a current challenge.

My take on it -- as long as it showing it does not reveal your entry, why not? If you want to share it, do so.
