Here is what langdon used to create this website many MANY years ago...

...and that's how we see it on our monitors today...

You see that guy wearing glasses... his eyes screwed up trying to look at the thumb-sized photos on his screen!

Not sure if you are serious here... That is not how the site shows up for me.

Obviously I am exaggerating a little, but bit bigger thumbs at front page would make a huge difference these days!

PS: I am sure langdon did not use that computer to create this website either ;)

I never thought about it, but now that you brought it up, larger thumbs would be nice...

My thumbs are big enough right now. Any bigger and I'd have an even harder time getting on my cycling gloves!

Keep in mind, of course, that the most common screen resolution in the US is 1366x768, and over half of all monitors in use are still that size or smaller. You can thank cheap laptop screens for that.

I agree that the site is in need of a cosmetic upgrade, but complaining about it all the time isn't going to make it happen. It's just going to drive more people away.

For me, it's as much about poor eyesight as it is site overhaul! :-D

You know what? You are absolutely right on that... It became a reflex now for me to just pop stuff like that because they are sooooo frustrating!!!
