im renovating my main living space in my home. i've always wanted a wood burning fire place but i can't get one put in. i could install a gas one, but it but venting it is probably impossible based on the layout of my home and where i want to put it.
so that leaves me with electric or gel. anyone have any experience with either? im not so concerned about heat more than i am about appearance, real flames would be ideal.
