Fountains Abbey, Yorkshire?
When correct, please feel free to post one, I'm not able to post anything until I'm back in Scotland (tomorrow night). |

That's for sure correct. Someone needs to take the helm now, we're adrift on the river. I nominate Don :-) |

Back on line - Kroberg was right; in his absence, I agree with Bear_Music, Don gets the turn - Avalon, what a lovely guess!

Don, Don, Don, Don, Don......
Post another sex shop and see if Sara can break her personal speed record identifying it. : - )

Ok, Don, am I just missing it, or could that be virtually any beach in the world?
Generally the idea here is to post an image which has distinct features one might be able to identify. |

ok, Cory, being unable to identify the space she's in could work to your peril. |

Looks like Elizabeth Taylor in an outtake from a remake of The Sandpiper ...
so that would make it Pfeiffer Beach, Big Sur |

Well, just to take it as far as I can - the woman is Eddra Gale, this is a screen cap from 8 1/2 (1963), and the location is either France or Italy. Trying to discern more than that, but I have yet to find an exact location.
From the list of filming locations, it would seem that only Lido di Ostia, Rome or Fiumicino, Lazio, Italy would fit the bill.

It might be Ostia but I think it's Rimini. You're up Cory. |

You all knew I was joking, right? that part about the 'retake' ..:)
at least Cory ran with it to victory. Nice catch. |

I still don't get the joke, sadly. My pop-culture knowledge is about as poor as you can imagine - I'm pretty sure there are kids in sub-saharan Africa who know more about pop-culture than I do.

Pueblo Bonito, I believe.
Next...I'm not sure this thing still exists, but if you've been there, you won't forget it anytime soon. Anyway, name the town...

And you'd be right.
That would be the "Artichoke Capitol of the World" Castroville, CA
Specifically, the Giant Artichoke Restaurant.. Which is closed, but the artichoke was still there as of mid 2012. |
