I think this is that wonderful Baltimore landmark, the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower. I can see why you had to blur the clock face if it is ;-). Also unless that is a wonderful sunset glow it must have been cleaned since 2001!
Edited to acknowledge its full name.

I knew you'd get it. It is the Bromo Tower. I work just a few blocks away and pass it on my way to the bus every evening. It is indeed a golden evening glow fromone evening last week. they've recently started doing clockroom tours on Saturdays. I'm going to have to do that soon.
I wish it still had the big bottle of Bromo on it.

I just read that in early 2007 the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts began renovations to transform the building into 33 artists' studios. How great, and thanks for the trip down memory lane Larry!.
I'm under the gun with a couple of things at the moment, so Robert Bear_music has offered to post something in my place. Thanks! |

This may take a while. Unless somebody knows where it is. Then it won't :-)

Invisible Consequential is a person with a photostream. The image I have posted was not made by him. It was made by me. You'll be able to straighten this all out, I'm sure, but so far you're just sniffin' around the periphery :-) |

Not our backyard (I *WISH*!), nor is it Mystic Seaport, although upon reflection it LOOKS like it could be if they got a sense of humor there. The ghost of the sail loft or something :-) |

Is it from the bread and puppet museum? |

The fact that there not only might be a bread museum or a puppet museum fascinates me. The fact that there is one that combines both, I find intriguing.

Sigh, I was looking forward to spectating the search, but yeah, you got it. Backside of the barn. Glover, Vermont. You're up :-) |

Google it; it's fascinating. These people are an absolutely unreconstructed vestige of the 60's-70's politically aware art scene. They basically haven't changed at all. The puppets are their art. The bread was how they supported themselves. Well worth a visit if you're up that way. |

I missed that one -- cool shot, Bear. Didn't recognize the puppet itself. We didn't walk outside much. |

Argh... I need to come up with a place? I never thought of one, because I never thought I'd guess correctly! |

Easy. Backstage at the Grateful Dead, Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, 1973.
Or maybe the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. |
