Yup I have it. It's spectacular. It's what I used to warp your picture, actually. |

Oh! Cool!!!! How is it different from the current LR corrections, or the warp feature in CS?

You can set up very complex geometries and regularize them automatically. I haven't used it spherically so I can't speak to that. It's much easier to use than the CS 6 perspective tool. |

If you're using it to correct the geometry, you bet it is. If you're WARPING, gotta be careful. A little's OK, a lot's too much. |

This looks like something worth purchasing. I use a similar feature in CS6 but it doesn't have as much capability as what this has to offer. |

You're right about that. CS6 is "similar" in the same way a Chevy Malibu is "similar" to a Bentley Mulsanne... |

I've visited that site a lot for their lens reviews (which are odd at times to be honest), but have never really considered their software offerings. This looks really helpful. I could salvage a lot of shots where I don't currently like the lines. Too bad the special is only for the Topaz plugin.
Edit: It's actually $49 for anyone until the 25th. Looks good to me.

That's DxO Optics Pro. A very fine program, but even on sale it's 200 bucks. We're talking about the ViewPoint module, which can be had for 40 bucks right now, for perspective correction and such. |

Yes, right - I am talking about Dxo Optics Pro, it has been $99 bucks (APS-C) for about a month.

Is it a stand alone program or it can be used as a plug in in PS? |

I export to PS, like LR does - I don't think it will show up in PS Filters.

So there's a feature like export to PS? I'm only worried with the workflow. |

Export feature in DxO is sophisticated and seamless - export DNG, tiff, jpeg to LR or PS flicker/facebook as you like, what you edit in DxO is what you get.
The b&w and view point - wide angle add on, if you have them, appear in DxO Pro as integrated to the program.
Horizon line and crop tools are not as good as PS or LR....

That's "from $99", Leo and Undie... $99 is the special price for the "standard edition"; unfortunately, that edition only works for certain cameras, which includes your Lumix but doesn't include my 5DII. I have to buy the "Elite" version to work with my camera/lens combos. |

Interesting. Supports my D700 but none of my lenses! |

I tried out ViewPoint last night and didn't get the results I was expecting. Honestly I think I can do just as well with Ps and some fiddling. Perhaps I missed something and should watch the tutorial. |
