Edward J. 'Babe' Heffron
He was a member of Easy Company in the 101st airborne during WWII. This is the company that had truly intense fighting...just like alot of forces....But they were the ones that took eagles nest. That was some of the most fierce fighting in the war. RIP Edward

| I have seen that series a dozen times, interested as I am in WWII. Those guys were special and especially in what they did during the Battle of the Bulge. That 'Babe' may rest in peace! |
