I have been on the receiving, and giving end of random acts of kindness in my 52 years, and have remembered each one. Yes I know, this is something that should be done 365 days a year, but this is the season that the gift given no matter how small is magnified. A toy to a child that might not receive one, food to someone that is hungry, boots or a coat to the cold, or thousands of things that are easily found that cost as little you can afford, to some things that only require time.
I really don't care the editing rules of this challenge, but what I would love to see, rather than someone else's act of kindness, grab a friend or relative and create your own, experience it, and share it in photographers comments. I think if done this way, everyone will be the winner in something more than a few colored pixels on the front page. I hope this will run in a open challenge, and have the largest turn out we have seen in a couple years.. |
