It would be nice to have a notification feature (optional to receiver) if someone mention a member's name in a post. I know that probably will be possible only within the member/user tags but still could be a nice feature to add. |

1. We are not Twitter -- I don't see why you need to "follow" anyone that closely.
2. It could/would generate a lot of (mostly) boring and useless messages/emails and add to the database overhead, (further) degrading overall site performance.
3. It should be easy enough to do a forum search (use the "advanced" feature) to search the text/body for the person's name, restricting the dates to since your last search. If you bookmark the search results page, you can recall it at any time and simply change the dates and reload it to get a current result. |
