Hey all, it's been raining here for over 30 hours straight (not too hard, but enough) and I thought I'd show you what I saw today...

Last month, I took this photo while standing on a bridge not far from where I live:


Here's what that bridge looks like today:


Same bridge, but from the other side:


It was raining a bit too hard to venture down closer to see if I could see the house, but this is their driveway:


More can be seen here. All pictures are on the same road which is flooded in 2 different areas.

I've seen flooding before (on the News), but never in person.

Mother nature sure can be nasty when she wants to be... :(

I feel ya... I'm north of you and its still raining here also. I haven't been out to take any photos but I am sure there are lots of flooded places around. I can see a few downed tree limbs and debris from my deck. And another one is right around the corner...

Thanks, Dana. I'm totally not used to this kind of weather. Snow piling up to your armpits is more what I'm used to... as much as you see natural disasters on the news, it doesn't compare to seeing it first-hand.
