It's been so long since I've edited for a 'Basic' challenge I forgot some details (and yes I've reread the ruleset).

So ... as long as it's applied to the whole image, using the Curves tool should be allowed. Yes?

Yeah, just remember universal adjustments. You can get really extreme with things so long as it's done to the whole image; no masking.

Curves are totally legal for the S-curves challenge :)
