It's been so long since I've edited for a 'Basic' challenge I forgot some details (and yes I've reread the ruleset).
So ... as long as it's applied to the whole image, using the Curves tool should be allowed. Yes?

| Yeah, just remember universal adjustments. You can get really extreme with things so long as it's done to the whole image; no masking. |

Curves are totally legal for the S-curves challenge :)
