Primotronix is far worse than you might imagine based on the OP's experience. In my case I ordered a $900 lens in July, they claimed it had shipped a few days later, and after 7 weeks I hadn't received anything. They promised a full refund, and after 2 weeks hadn't given it (they hinted that my refund was delayed because they were unhappy with my negative review and my refusal to change it). I filed a complaint with the BBB, they said they never heard of any refund, and I'd get it within 2 weeks. I didn't. I called them again, filed another complaint with the BBB (which they didn't respond to), and still I have no refund. I am out $900 and got nothing for it - straight up scammers. |

It might be tempting, but in a lot of households there is but one "SupremeOne" and I doubt that she is about to share the moniker with anyone.
Do you have anything like "WhippedPuppy", I bet there would be a big demand for that one.
:O)

The acronym for her is SWMBO, which stands for "She Who Must Be Obeyed" |

The first time I heard that reference, it was NOT from the "Rumpole of the Bailey" series, and I liked it......referred to my wife in that manner.
Once speaking to my father, I referred to my wife as She Who Must Be Obeyed, and he proceeded to rattle off things he liked about the show. I asked him what the heck he was talking about, and he told me that was a phrase coined by the show. I told him I had never heard of the show......I thought it was just a married thing.
I thought he was going to hurt himself laughing.

Hmmm, I'll have to check "Rumpole of the Bailey" out, I've never heard about that show. I first encountered of SWMBO in a woodworking newsgroup I used to frequent, rec.wood.
Though it seems the original reference is to this book from the late 19th century.

Though I can't say we walk at all gaily,
My barrister takes me there daily.
He's no Rumpole (by far),
Yet the best at the bar—
Called "The Beast" in that court (the Old Bailey).
A barrister is an attorney admitted to practice at the bar (in court) in Great Britain. The Old Bailey is the local name given London's Central Criminal Courts building. The late Leo McKern superbly portrayed Horace Rumpole—a fictional barrister—on the BBC/PBS series Rumpole of the Bailey.
Check it out -- I think it's a great show. |
