I am looking at buying an Canon EOS 7 and was wondering if this will use the same lenses and the EOS 1-Digital camera.

If you're referring to the EOS ELAN 7 and the EOS-1D, the answer is YES - all of the cameras in the Canon EOS family can use the same interchangeable autofocus lenses - those made by Canon as well as a handful of others (Sigma, etc) --- plus with the right adapter, you can afix almost any lensed apparatus out there in front of it.
