I am experimenting with simple lighting techniques. This is a little crude but I like the colours.

Any comments ?

I like the concept, pull the flash/light down so the hotspot at the bottom isn't as bad. I'm dealing with a similar problem on some of my recent shots:



I'm thinking about building a small box with the flash at bottom and a piece of semi-transparent foam at the top for the object to rest. Another option I am pondering is tieing a string to the opbject and dangling it above the lightsource. :)
