Natural Body of Water II

Oceans, rivers, ponds, lakes, streams, brooks, fjords, swamps, waterfalls, etc. Natural water takes on many shapes. Capture a naturally made body of water.

Maybe if you add reservoirs and puddles to your list ... just nothing in a "man-made* container" ...

* "human-made is too awkward a construction ... :-(

Virginia has one natural lake (some sites claim 2).

Coming from the land of 10,000 lakes, that's such a bizarre thought.

All of the ponds close to me are man-made. We are a land of fake water!

But then there's that ocean thing about 1.5 hours away. And a swamp about as far away. And a kind of uglyish river.

Hmmmm. I wonder if the sturgeon are jumping yet.

What I meant to exclude was Water Drops and Wine Glasses...not Ponds and Man made Lakes. Many streams come from dams. You have the beautiful Chespeak Bay and several rivers that feed that right by you Wendy...pretty isolated areas with smooth and calming waters...lots of reeds dipping in the waters edge....Osprey fishing early in the morning....you have loads of choices.
