Hello everyone. I just want to say I am very happy to have returned. I have been on a hiatus because all of my photography gear had been stolen. I had well over $1300 worth of gear that I just had to replace. I know to some $1300 is not much but when you like me and it is a hobby that I just started just a little over a year ago, you wonder if destiny was trying to tell something. But I saved my money and now I have replaced some of my gear, so I look forward getting back into the "flash" of things and learning this awesome hobby. Well, enough about me and on with the topic.

Just recently I came across an article online that just sickened me and all I can do is do nothing but have image in my mind about what this family is going through. Especially, knowing what is going to happen. As a starting photographer, just for hobby mind you, where do you draw the line? I just found this article really disturbing.

If you have a moment, just copy and paste the link. I just know there has to be a line between a photo shot for your job and money and doing/trying what is right to save a human being.

Thank you glad2badad. I never realized the date on the article. I just showed up on msn news this evening. It was something that caught my eye and just wanted the photography world to see. I will delete the post in the morning.

Again thank you.

Sorry about the gear. I was burgled last year in December and had equipment and computers worth over US$3,000 stolen. Good you don't give up. Were you insured?

I have missed your sunny disposition and generous spirit, Adrian. I'm so sorry you were robbed. That is always terrible, no matter what the value of the stole items.
