This is another of those great ideas that could keep you occupied for hours.
It's a painting with many famous people in historic poses.
When the cursor hovers over each face, it's identified and when you click on the name, there's more.
Have fun with this one!

Awww, can't let this go without at least one bump.
See if you can find Bill Clinton, Steven Spielberg and Marcel Duchamp.
My only 'grouch' is that there are so few women pictured. (I found less than 10)

Found all those. I'm loving it. But we're kinda busy here gettin' ready for Stowe: we have to take Penny's sister to the airport from there, so she's outta here for good in a day and a half...

I LOVE it. Especially the non-human celebrities: "LOL cat", "celebrities that look like camel", "Ford model T", "Dolly the cloned sheep", "phonograph", "Easter Island", "typewriter", "Gutenberg bible", "Stonehenge", "Tiananmen", and the "72 virgins" of Islamic paradise! And did you spot Lewis Caroll?

Incidentally, most of the celebrities are Chinese, and those that aren't, look Chinese. Probably because the artists are Chinese... AND they appear in the painting :-)

Paris Hilton and Bette Midler are two of the celebrities who look like a camel.

I was expecting to see famous people painting - the painting of famous people was a surprise. That was an interesting way to waste spend some time. How about the twofer - Charles Darwin OR Noah!

Ah, yes, Marion, this is a time-waster indeed. Did you notice that if you click on the name, it takes you to the Wikipedia entry?

But even though I clicked, I could not find out why Alfred Nobel was depicted playing the trumpet!

And then there was the conversation between Sigmund Freud and Jack Kevorkian. What do you suppose they were talking about.

Indeed, the artists who designed this are amazing historians as well as artists.

It's the "trump of doom": he invented dynamite :-)

Dunno about Ol' Roy, but the Darwin/Noah thing is easy to explain. One is for the secular folks, the other is for the religious folks..
