It rained for all of 15 minutes and for the first 10 I was on a conference call. Thought I did okay for 5 minutes of rain and happy to see a 5+ score even if it is just barely.

It rained maybe 5 minutes here in San Antonio. I took a few pictures. I was going to submit this one but I was a few seconds too late.

I used to live in San Antonio back when I was knee high to a grasshopper.I lived close to a place called "Heart attack hill" not far from the elementary school I attended (could have been a child's name for it) at the bottom used to be a crick that when it rained flooded. Us kids would head down there with nets and try to capture alligator gar for fun.
Don't know why but your post stirred up that memory. |

Not sure I made the right choice. But, it's okay. I'm not complaining. It rained in the mountains of Colorado on nearly every day in August. That is very unusual, as we live in a high elevation desert. |
