Some cool pictures of some cool abandoned buildings. The text is in Italian, but it's just to identify where the buildings are. With a little imagination, you should be able to figure it out. |

Thanks for posting that Germaine. Fantastic places!
And Janine, the pictures of the abandoned planes are so fascinating. How come that isn't a touted tourist attraction? (Though it would soon be ruined if it were.)

I have no idea...but I do think that more people are "discovering" it....therefore it makes it more enticing??? |

At least one of those pictures is from the National Geographic.
And the last one is not abandoned but bellisimi - the Tunnel of Love is still a railway line. |

I love old abandoned stuff!
This place is buried in the woods at the edge of a field......you can't see it, you have to know it's there....
Cedar Street Church
This place is being torn down and/or upgraded on a regular basis.......some of these shots are no longer able to be replicated....
Some of these are the same shot with different edits. I call the place Desolation Industries 'cause I really am not supposed to have any of these and I'd rather not say where they're from...
Desolation Industries
These are a couple shots from the old abandoned Pa turnpike tunnels in the mountains between Harrisburg & Pittsburgh.....
Turnpike Tunnels
