| Hi - I am sorting through my Alaska pics and am trying to figure out what lenses I used to take my pics. But all the lens info is blank in the Properties. I know its there ... DPC knows what lens I used ... How do I figure this out? Thanks!! |

| What software are you using to look at the data? It's likely that it does not understand where to look for the lens data. |

| Well that sounds like the main problem then ... didn't realize I needed software to see it. I am on Windows 7 and use Elements 11 for pp. Is there something that I should get to assist? |

| I look at EXIF with IrfanView -- great program for browsing and quick edits. |

Windows properties will show you the basics, but for more depth, yep, you need software designed for the task. I too have used IrfanView in the past, it's a good program. You may already have what you need though. Open a file in Elements, right-click in the file header, and select File Info. Click the Camera Data tab. Lens info should be there. |

| Yay! Elements does indeed show the info (not brand or anything but enough to see it was the wide angle) in Camera Data. Thanks so much for the info!! |
