one of those pick one or the other.

either a floor figures in prominently to the shot, (forcing a photographer to lower the barrel a touch,

or

the ceiling figures in to the shot, obliging the gaze to turn upward...

advanced editing, should get some super interpretations.

or just do one or the other.

Plus the title of the "what's your score in this challenge" thread would write itself.

That is, as a matter of fact, what she said.

I was going to suggest "that's what she said" as a challenge suggestion. I am not sure it would be a universal joke, and it might be a bit of a troubling concept for some female photogs.

well this should be easy- almost everyone has one or the other, some people even have both!

Wouldn't be a problem for this one!
Then again, I'm not your typical female. Ha
In this house, you GOTTA have a sense of humor (dirty humor, at that)

Great idea. I already have many themes related to hardwood floor due to my good imagination power. Moreover, I also have a ceiling figures.

It is NOT floor or ceiling, but, and I quote, "Your choice... either the floor on the ceiling should be prominently featured in your photograph." (OWN BOLD ADDED)

Oh dear, I missed that. I don't think anything I've tried so far will meet the challenge :)

The TITLE includes the word "OR" ... the description includes a typographical error.

That's a good suggestion.
