Yep. But I did try! I'm betting your attempt will way outscore my attempt. Are you up for it? :-)

I'm not sure I'm done trying yet! I still have 4 hours to go. I might get it right yet -- and then watch out! :) |

In other words, I hope to beat the pants off of you -- if I can reshoot! Otherwise, you stand a good chance. :)
But I'll take you on either way. :)

I think those who have been "the chosen one" should be sure to comment on the photo (given that the DPCer is named)

and hopefully they see a fail as a compliment -- that it's obviously not as easy as it looks. :) |

I'm in, but my expectations are always low ... FWIW I'm not naming who I am making a lame attempt to imitate -- if people can't tell then I know I didn't do a very good job. ;-)
Instead of the photographer naming the emulee in the title, this would have been a good one for the voters to make their guess in the comments ... |

The person I emulated has been named in the title. I humbly have failed to equal the person whom I admire.

A complete re edit and I'm much happier with mine. May be able to hold mid pack now.

No matter how much I wish I had a clear style I found out that I shoot in thousands styles. Was tempting to try something gyabanish but man, that require skills, and time, and skills, and dedication.
Also it did not work the usual shoot something and see what comes out.
I did pick a member's style, something that I do not usually shoot, and man, again was hard as it required photo technical skills
Anyway, I'm in.
And did I mention that Gyanban is not my style but even though was tempting to try something gyabanish, man that require skills, and time, and skills, and dedication...
... And skills
Edit: I named the person too. It's not Gyaban

It'll be interesting just to see who gets emulated.

My brother Bear, you see, I admire so many people, but for me, this is something I want to do for myself. This person is, in my opinion, an under rated photographer on this site despite all the ribbons and mentions. I am foolish to even attempt the style, but what the heck, why not? |

What a fun challenge. Ya'll rock. :)
Seriously can't wait to see this one. Everyone honoring/emulating/imitating the person they admire. Really something. |
