The good stuff is Manuka honey. I almost suggested this myself. In my mother's last years she had dreadful leg ulcers and this was used effectively to heal them.

Things went well today.
The doc is pleased with his progress and cleared him for PT again.
Wasn't too concerned with the infection sites, as he said they are a result of his body trying to dissolve the stitches.
Go back in a month and should discuss laser resurfacing surgery on his face.
