For what it's worth, my own score in this challenge was at dizzying heights, plummeted into the 6.2 range, and has slowly clawed its way back up to the mid-sixes over the last several days. It's been an agonizing process. I sympathize with everyone who suffers :-)

Also, regarding eyesight, y'all know I'm deaf and lipread: now my own eyes are starting to get noticeably worse and it does worry me a LOT, so, life is just really frustrating sometimes. We just gotta soldier on.

For an artist/photographer eyesight is key so I understand the frustration and worry - hopefully it won't get any worse so that you two gents can keep doing what you love.

Well, Bear, I just wandered through all the entries in 'your' Challenge and you had some rather wonderful tributes.

It's good to see so many interpretations of your style and personality - so many ways to honor you and your participation in this site.

As someone said earlier in this thread, more or less, "onward to the next 1000".
