Using letterboxing (top/bottom border) to get to a printable aspect ratio? I think it works OK here. But I think it would probably work if you crop a bit from the left and right and leave it borderless, or with an even border as well.

Good job ! I like the desat ! Have you taken more photos at the Bellagio Casino ? (Sorry just curiosity!)

I like letterbox borders when used to make the scene seem 'wider'. They're not popular with DPC Prints, however.

I do enjoy watching letterbox format but the black at the top and bottom compete too much with the blacks in the photo otherwise the desat works very well in the composition.

dunno, doesnt seem to add much to my eye. The desat is really great tho!

Just this one from inside the lobby

and a few other photos that didn't turn out that great.

The letterbox wasn't made to fit a print ratio, I just added it on so the file wouldn't be 640x427 after an uniform adjustment to the size. I'll go back and try to crop it so that I don't have to use the letterbox.
