Can A Black N White Picture have Backligthing? Any one have any photo for an exsample? Thank you Dave

Just desaturate a colour one Dave, no difference.

the photo I submitted is black and white. I'm sure many others are going to be as well. It's about the light, not the color. |

It's Backlighting, not black lighting. Sorry to tease. But seriously, either color or B&W can be back lit. It's the placement of a light source behind the subject that does the trick. |

Another question on backlighting,
Would you mark down a entry if it used a number of lighting positions but the backlighting was the prime light source?
I'm in two minds with my potential entries. |

I think that as long as the backlighting is the main light source and you can plainly see that, that should be fine. |
