OK - A lesson for the uninformed.

There is a ton of motion here - it's just that it's frozen with strobed flashes.

Remember folks, motion does not always equal motion blur.

That is all, have a grand day.

So just wondering what score did you expect to get with this image, or did you fully enter this thinking it may be considered a shoehorn by the majority, makes me think whether others think that as well. I know when my image is a shoehorn and expect the low votes, but I'm not quite sure others do.

I was actually curious if DPC'ers would spot the movement.

If figured if they did, it would be bonus points. And if they didn't... Well, I figured this would happen. :)

I tried dropping a coin, and was just getting too much BG in the shot and not enough coin. I was afraid blur=movement would prevail.

Not that I'm worried about it, but it was worth mentioning. :D

I got the movement, no problems there, but I gave you 6 because I found the foreground a bit too cluttered. The seed pods would have been enough for me.

I think a few saw it. :)

And a 6 was quite fair, maybe even more than fair.

The movement was clear to me because of the grass being "identical" and therefore telling it was the same one moving from left to right and because of the second pod from the left which could not rest on the coins the way it does if it wasn't moving.
But just like Marion I found there was a bit too much going on in the front with the coloured stones and the coins (even though the coins "helped" me to "see" the movement)
That, combined with the lighting I liked made me give it a 5.
