Yes, once in a while, it's necessary to post
another cat story.
This sensitive photo essay of an 88-year-old grandma and her strange cat is a keeper.
The site is a tiny bit slow in opening. The result is worth it.

That is entirely too sweet. What a bond those two have! The cat actually reminds me quite a bit of my daughter's cat Bo, one of the most lovable felines I've ever met. This guy:

What a wonderful story in photographs. I'm not normally a cat person (as everyone in our house gets hayfever from them) but Fukumaru is just so sweet. I'll remember this if I ever cross paths with a stray cat...and I'll stop to buy hayfever tablets on the way home.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the essay.

I just enjoyed looking at it again and then started exploring the site.
The other photography essays are also quite spectacular, especially the one on
clouds. "How'd they DO that!"
And the architecture section has a glass house series that mesmerized me.
but no, I wouldn't want to live there.
