Art Nouveau Style

Description:

A style of architecture and the decorative arts at the turn of the 20th century. It is characterized mostly by non-geometric plant, floral-inspired motifs, as well as highly-stylized, sinuous lines. The style grew to also include Alphonse Mucha's much recognized illustrations & paintings which frequently feature beautiful young women in flowing robes surrounded by lush flowers which sometimes formed halos behind their heads.
