Anyone got a Leap Motion controller? I watched a video for one of these a long time ago and was so impressed I pre-ordered one. I had totally forgotten and just received an email to say it would be shipping soon.
I wondered if anyone else has tried one and whether it is a 5 minute gimick or a serious bit of kit. I would imagine it would be nice for sorting through photos.
I have no connection with this company and this is a genuine question and not spam. Here is the link to the site with a video of this new device

look cool. at a conference a year or so ago i got to use a touchscreen for cad applications. after about 5 minutes of playing my shoulder started to hurt.
these things look great in theory, but i imagine the human body (e.g. wrists, arms, shoulders) inst going to be very comfortable with these new stresses, considering our current input alleviate most of the forces introduced from gravity in when them.

Thanks Mike - yeah I am not sure I would use it much apart from trying to impress clients with new technology. Sure seems quite futuristic. |
