| I noticed there are no date barriers, isn't this challenge usually for the current year? |

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to love this, I have a load of pic's from the past I love and never submitted, just checking though, but if there are no dates mentioned then all's good! |

Huh, I guess I forgot about the date restrictions on the other hidden gem challenge. Or at least I was TRYING to forget. ;)
Missed the brown by just a few places. 
I just remembered the Hidden Gem - 1000th Challenge celebration, which was under the same rules of no date restrictions.

| I submit that my entry was based on photograph(s) taken with a digital camera on or between Jan 1 1999 and Jun 28 2013. If requested, I will provide the unedited, original file from my digital camera within 48 hours. I have followed the Advanced Editing rule set, taking into account any extra rules listed above.* |

Plus there was Baby Animals II, which ran without a date restriction.
In fact, I did rather well in that one.

| In the past there have been no date barriers for Hidden Gem...that's why I really like it...you just can't enter a file/photo that has been used before in a previous challenge. It's a great chance to dig through your files and find the "Hidden Gem"... |

I guess it's not a rule, but it seems to me that the spirit of the challenge would dictate that the photo be taken prior to the challenge being posted, i.e. before June 20, 2013. |
